Is it really 50 % OFF????

saleSO MUCH HAS BEEN SAID ABOUT FLORIDA REAL ESTATE IS $.50 ON THE 1$.  IS IT REALLY??? SOME MISCONCEPTIONS IS THIS.  2008 A HOME IS LISTED AT $1,000,000.  2009 THE HOME IS A SHORT SALE OR REDUCED TO $700,000. IS IT GOING TO SELL FOR $350,000. NOT!  MANY PEOPLE ARE FLOCKING TO FLORIDA TO FIND THAT 50% OFF SALE, ARE THEIR HOMES THAT ARE DISCOUNTED TO THIS, YES!  BUT THOSE ARE THE HOMES THAT SHOULD NEVER BEEN AT THE PRICES THEY WERE.  PLEASE LISTEN TO ME......IF YOU ARE ON THE WATER LOOKING FOR HOMES THAT ARE $100,000 IN NAPLES OR FORT MYERS, THEY DON'T EXSIST!  NOW BEFORE YOU GET ANGRY EMAILS THAT YES THERE ARE HOMES FOR THAT PRICE, LET ME REPHRASE THIS.  IF YOU FIND A HOME FOR $100,000 FOR "WATERFRONT"  IT IS NOT ON THE GULF AND IT MAY TAKE YOU 30 MINUTES TO GET OUT OUR YOUR CANAL AND INTO THE GULF, OR THE HOME DOESN'T HAVE 4 WALLS AND A ROOF!  ARE YOU GETTING THE PICTURE. 

    SO MANY REALTORS ARE IN A PANIC TODAY OVER COMMISSIONS AND GRABBING ON TO ANY BUYER THEY CAN FIND THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT OUR JOB IS ABOUT! WE ARE HERE TO EDUCATE THOSE CLIENTS THAT AREN'T FROM THE AREA.  I UNDERSTAND IT IS A BUYERS MARKET BUT LET'S NOT FORGET WHO THE PROFESSIONAL IS..US THE REALTORS...IF WE WANT TO HELP DRAG FLORIDA OUT OF THE BOTTOM, WE NEED TO INFORM WHAT THE VALUES ARE IN FLORIDA, SHOW THEM THE BEST DEALS BUT NOT LET BUYERS WALK AWAY FROM A GREAT DEAL BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT INFORMED WITH THE RIGHT INFORMATION.
