A day in the life SouthWest Florida
Well mark this day down. This is the first post on what is going to be a very successful blog on Real Estate. I should say more of a diary of the daily in's and outs of this crazed Real Estate Agent. Maybe I should introduce myself first. I'm Inga (Green) Wilson self proclaimed successful real estate agent here in Southwest Florida. For those of you that don't know, Southwest Florida consists of Naples, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Sanibel and Captiva Island. I'm sure some of you are thinking that is a HUGE area to cover. But when you break down luxury properties on the Water, Beach or Golf Courses, It's not that large. And if it does get hectic I beg our teams 2 assistants Martha and Arika to help me! I work on a team under McMurray & Nette, there are Martha, Arika, Brooks, myself and what I call dweedle dee and dweedle dumb. ( Hopefully they won't catch this blog till much futher along) We work out of the VIP Realty Group office on Sanibel, Florida.
Ok just a quick synopses about me:
Personally: Wife, Mother of 2 somewhat behaved kids, And what I think is a great friend. Which brings me to something funny. I can't write. I mean I really can't write. I think I have a 8th grade spelling level and my grammar might be in the 2nd grade category. But that has nothing to do with how well I can sell real estate. So if I can't write why am I even attempting to write a blog? Well because I think I'm funny, my friends always tell me I'm funny, so of course I believe them. So even if I have run -on sentences and spelling mistakes I think this blog will be entertaining and also give some useful information on Real Estate in this challenging market!
Professionally: Work on a team McMurray & Nette. Very Successful, sold 120 million in 2007 ( of course before I joined them) Then 90 million 2008 which I contributed that year! I have been selling real estate for 9 years and have been very successful in this short time. I stared out in Commercial, then moved to Miami and sold residential there. At that time you stuck a sign in the yard, and sold it an hour later. Not like today! I also remember to become a "Luxury Specialist" you had to sell homes over $500,000. In Miami a SHACK was $500,000! Anyway I branched out and sold beachfront lots in Great Exuma, Bahamas next to the four seasons. Now I am back on the west coast of Florida and I'm here to stay. I'm noticing a beach theme here.
