Quiet before the storm...

I thought I was going to have a pretty quite day today, I should have known better! My first mistake was driving to our office on Sanibel. I have to say though,that you could be having the worst day and you drive over that bridge to Sanibel Island and you can feel your body relaxing. It's so beautiful! White sand, green/blue water, boats racing by. Some day's that occasional European 80 yr old male in his speedo on the beach next to the road can be somewhat disturbing! Got to the office and Arika said I had a bunch of messages for showings. Because we deal with higher end properties (get it Marketing Real Estate at a higher level) ( my slogan) ok moving on. Anyway most of our sellers want 24 hr notice. These properties are not that kind you put a lock box on. Why don't agents look at the agent notes? "hi this is stacy from century 21, I would like to show such and such at 12 today!" She called at 10:30!!!!! My first thought was telling her no way, but I called the seller anyway just in case. These days you don't want to say no because they probably won't come back. All of our sellers that we had calls on were able to show today, so what started out a catch up day, was running around with my head cut off! I think 2 out of the 5 went somewhat well. These day's I can't get a good read. They seem extremely interested when they leave and I find our the last home they saw they put an offer on! So I have stopped guessing. Hopefully I will have some good news tomorrow.
Tip of the day! Check out all the comments on the MLS and try to give 2 options for showings.
