Another beautiful day here in Southwest Florida! It was 80 degrees and no humidity. The beaches and water in Naples was perfect! Spent time today with some of my favorite clients, Betsy and Richard from Annapolis. They are the typical buyers here in Southwest Florida. Close to retiring, and wanting to take advantage of the prices here. A few years ago waterfront property was out of the question if you didn't have a million dollars. Now it is like a 50% of sale at Nordstroms. You know those sales where you are so excited because you got such a great deal, and you can't believe anyone paid full price.. Welcome to Southwest Florida Real Estate it is the ultimate 50% off sale! But you know when the sale is coming...They send you postcards, your friends are telling you the sale starts next week. And you get ready. You try to save your money anticipating those shoes you always wanted but couldn't afford. Monday comes and you are the first one in the door before all the good stuff is picked over. You see the shoes. You get the shoes...You can afford the shoes...You are so happy in your new shoes. But unlike the Nordstroms sale we didn't actually know the first day real estate in Florida went on sale..but we do know the end is near. Do you want to get the shoes that are picked over? I'm just saying.
Tip of the Day: Hire a realtor that knows the market! Have them educate you on the properties that are for sale. They will know when something is worth a rush to the front door, and they will know when you can wait for them to hit the outlet mall....
